Coaching & Bodywork

Let's hold space
to turn and check inside.

Our inner world and our outer world affect and influence each other.
The best kind of adventures, healing, and growth encompass both realms.

Our awareness lives at the interface of two conjoined worlds: the world beyond our bodies, and a universe within. Our senses spend most of the time attending to the outside of ourselves. Meanwhile myriad internal sytems are quietly (or not so quietly) maintaining our function as a living being, and helping us to orient to what we sense outside.

Our inner world is vaster than we think, and includes both mind and body. The denizens of that vast world (our thoughts, our ideas, our muscles, our cells, our microbiome) are shaping our every moment. If we're not happy with our experiences --either what's happening outside of us, or how it feels to be in our own specific body and mind-- we might need to map out our personal universe a little more clearly. As we fill in our map, we can gently introduce the possibility of change in ways that are ecological for our specific inner topology: making life better for every single part of us. I call this Walking Within.

Coaching Specialties

Internal Family Systems

Using IFS, we approach each person as a system made up of many parts. Parts can relate to one another like family members, functional or dysfunctional. By approaching parts with curiosity, compassion, and courage, we help, heal, and restructure our inner family.

Transformative Martial Arts & Athletics

Martial artists and athletes (and musicians and dancers and....) perform their best by coordinating their entire mind-body system. Performers who are stuck in their progress, or having trouble integrating mind and body on the field or on the mat are a great fit for integrative headspace coaching. Newer artists who want to find their own path are a great fit too.

Intimate Clarity:
Kinky, Poly, Queer, & Neurodiverse

When we aren't sure exactly what we want from a partner or encounter, or are unsure of our limits and boundaries, it's hard to negotiate or even seek a partner who is a good match for our desire. It's even tricker if our desires or orientations fall outside the mainstream.

Imaginal Adventuring

The images in our mind represent aspects of the world and ourselves. Maps, landscapes and dreamhouses. Stories, fantasies, and dreams. Beloved characters and recurrent nightmares. Whether you love stories or games, dream vividly, or feel lost in a fog, we can step inside and collaborate with what presents itself, renovating our inner spaces to serve our evolving purpose.

Review

Hello, my name is Kaile. I am a veteran of the United States army. I have been struggling with anxiety and depression ever since I got out of the military. I have been working with Amorette as my life coach for a little over a year and I have experienced so much growth in both my personal and my professional life. She has guided me on an emotional journey where I was able to develop an emotional vocabulary for both my mental health and my day-to-day life. I have felt growth not only for my peace of mind but also in communication to my loved ones. Through compassion and curiosity, I have been able to understand myself and others in a whole new light.

A word from Amorette...

I seek to serve the whole self of the client. I have special care for the secluded aspects hidden within each of us, those patiently waiting in the shadows for the attention and caring needed to release their full gifts. I also seek to bring ease to the parts of ourselves that are tired from working so hard. I aim to help the inner system coordinate and better allocate our inner labors, to bring greater success to every outer endeavor.

More and more, my work of integrating disparate inner parts into a whole has included not just the parts of the mind, but every part of the body as well. We hold memories, knowledge, and skill in our body, but the dialogue between body and conscious mind is not always as strong as it needs to be for many of us. We need to learn how to respect and trust our body, as an equal partner in our daily life, and have compassion for the struggles and unrewarded labors it has undertaken on our behalf. In my own system, this been a long and challenging, but rewarding journey.

In this work with you, I am a collaborator and a holder-of-space for your inner healer, your inner wisdom, your wisest Self. I have tools to offer, both for the body and for walking in the inner mind, but I am not the expert in you -- you are. My role is to guide you on your journey to look, listen, and feel within more easily, to help you find the answers parts of you already hold, to hold compassion and curiosity for whatever shows up, and to help your whole system forge stronger ties of trust and coordination which will impact every aspect of your daily life.
